ANDREA PECHO
My yoga journey started in 2020, right before the world shut down. I was looking for something to make ME happy after feeling like my body was failing me due to the many symptoms of Fibromyalgia.
I was completely hooked after my first class and continued to practice any way I could throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
A year into my practice, I decided to take my 200 hour yoga teacher training after seeing all of the many benefits I was getting through yoga–mental and physical. I was excited to share what I was learning with others that might be too scared to practise because of chronic pain or other limitations.
I have one son that keeps me pretty busy and if I’m not practicing yoga, I love to go camping, I’m a pretty decent baker and cupcake decorator and I’m always on the hunt for the best breakfast sandwich in the city!
Get to know Andrea.
What restores you? Being from the prairies originally, I’m now a certified beach bum! You can find me on my favorite beach at any time of the year, absorbing the ocean energy that I thrive on. I feel incredibly fortunate to live where I do and I try to take full advantage of it whenever I can.
What’s a daily habit you can’t live without? BATHS! I take one, two, sometimes 3 baths a day if time allows. It’s one of the places where my body feels the best; in the scalding hot water and also where I come up with my best ideas!
Describe your silliest fear. Want to see me scream and run? Moths. Vile little creatures, they are. I know it’s completely irrational but you won’t convince me that they’re not out to get me!
You can find me online on Instagram @andrea_the_fibro_yogi and also through my website Muddy Lotus Healing and Wellness
I can’t wait to join you as we explore our yoga journeys together!
