Edna has been a fan of Hot Yoga since 2006 and she believes consistent practice creates and enhances community and connection.

Edna is a certified teacher with a decade of
experience in the field, focusing in teaching and practicing
the Original 26 and 2 since 2011.

Get to know Edna.

One of my most memorable yoga classes? My first hot yoga class was at this studio about 15 years ago. Hooked by the heat, I was a fan from the start. I determined to commit to a consistent practice and completed my teacher training in the Fall of 2011.

What’s something that restores you? Spending time with others and time out with tea restores and revitalizes me. It used to be black tea with milk and 2 sugars. Since moving here from the south west of England, I’ve developed a green tea drinking habit that I can’t live without.

What is your silliest fear? I have an irrational fear of heights, particularly bridges over water, which sounds silly, but is very real. Emboldened by the motto “feel the fear and do it anyway” and by first watching my 3 children hopping and skippy over it, I’m delighted to have been able to conquer crossing the Capilano Suspension Bridge!
