One of my most memorable yoga classes? I’m a pretty dedicated practitioner, even through the pandemic! After my morning coffee, a yogi must have, I practice 6 days a week and yes, the pandemic didn’t slow me down.
What’s something that restores you? In my time off the mat, I enjoy kayaking and hiking. We are truly lucky to live in such a beautiful place. When I’m not kayaking, teaching, or practicing yoga, I work as a project coordinator/administrator for an ocean engineering firm.
My yoga path? That first session was 20 years ago, in a rec centre in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and set me on a path I wasn’t expecting. We moved to Victoria shortly after, where I dabbled in a variety of yoga styles, Iyengar, Hatha, Bikram, Yin, Ashtanga, and Pilates.
